Students took their "Parts of the sewing machine quiz" today. If they passed it with 8 or more correct, they stapled it to their sewing permit and have now earned 5 points towards their 50 points possible on their sewing permit. If they didn't pass, they can come Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday after school for retakes. They need to be in AT 111 by 2:40. Students were then shown how to work the sewing machines and how to do their "Crazy Stitching" (Stitching on paper). They have to complete three out of the seven papers/patterns they had to choose from. They will then attach these three papers to their CTE Sewing Permit. They will have the whole class period to work on these tomorrow.
