We meet in room P 207 which is one of the school computer labs. Students put together their sample for this class for their portfolio. Students were also reminded that anything not turned in past two weeks after it's due date will not be accepted and that it is their responsibility to check Skyward and the blog site at least once a week to check on their grades. Students were then given a packet entitled "Discovering career interests" and where shown how to create a portfolio on Choice's Explorer. We will be up in the computer lab Tuesday and Wednesday working on this as well. Anything the student does not finish in class needs to be finished at home. This activity and program will help them discover and research three different career areas which may interest them.
