Students watched short commercial clips that Bill Cosby did about career exploration. We discussed how from very young ages people ask us what we want to do when we're older. We also talked briefly about how young children often pretend that they do a certain type of work. For example, young children will pretend that they are firefighters. We divided up into groups and as groups brainstormed of as many careers as they could think of. Each group shared with the class some of the careers they listed.
