August 29th
Students turned in their parent letters for CTE Intro. They also turned in their folders identifying the three types of resources from yesterday. These will be graded and placed on Skyward over the weekend. During the rest of class, we watched part of a video about different health care careers. We will finish this and discuss them in greater detail on Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

August 28th
Students demonstrated their learning of the three types of resources by cutting out a picture of each type of resource, labeling them correctly and pasting them onto a file folder. I then demonstrated out to create a 3-dimensional graph using the file folder. They can use this technic in the future for science fairs and other projects. The folder is due tomorrow (Friday) in class and is worth 30 points.
August 27th
Students were introduced to the term economy and economics. We discussed the top 5 principles of the economy and how one effects the other. They also learned about the three types of resources (human, natural and capital) and how they are used in different situations. Some of the classes also got to an activity where they discovered and named their own planet and had to tell me about the three types of resources which are found on that planet. This was not turned in or worth points. they will use the information to help them with a project tomorrow in class.
